For the past 10 years, I’ve developed my design acumen by working on projects ranging from experimental and conceptual, to end-to-end solutions. Grounded in design theory from my background in architecture, I create digital products which offer value to both users and businesses; solving complex problems to create high impact whilst meeting strategic requirements. I love to collaborate with curious teams, all striving to reach our goals together. 

2019 - PRESENT

Unmade Overview
Unmade is a SaaS business offering cloud-based software to optimize supply chains for on-demand customisable apparel. It delivers interactive customer experiences to some of the worlds biggest fashion and sportswear brands via its configurators, as well as overall user experience consultancy for made on demand products. Unmade enables factories to receive and manage on-demand orders at scale by delivering production ready manufacturing files for each order, as well as enabling tracking of the workflow within the factory.

Design Lead for Universal UI
Universal UI is a system which provides the interfaces used for our configurators. The same system is used across all our clients but can be styled to reflect their brands style guide. Our clients' garments range from simple lifestyle garments, to complex garments within teamwear. Helping brands including Ralph Lauren, Dickies, Nike, New Balance, Decathlon, Castelli, Sportful & Rapha understand the nuances of the systems which are closely related to manufacturing outputs, as well as championing the best user experience for users.

UX Consultancy
Collaborating with brands to understand their business strategies in relation to on-demand and custom garments; working collaboratively to extol the virtues of the whole user journey and not just the Unmade embedded configurator in order to gain maximum value from our software. Conducted through a series of in person workshops.

User Research
Implementing a culture of gathering user research across our products and users. Clarifying the impact of product design decisions and helping feed our product roadmaps. “Users” at Unmade vary from a non-native english speaking factory engineer using one of our back-end products, to fashion conscious consumers and teamwear sales reps using our configurators. This vast breadth requires different testing methods and ways of gathering insights.

2015 - 2019

Design at Unmade has offered many opportunities to work across different disciplines. Working with different members of the team and external agencies, I have evolved our configurators whilst working on experimental projects for the MoMA New York and the London Design Museum. I have commissioned and produced marketing content; creating videos, developing exhibition stands and art directing D2C fashion shoots. Developing our own D2C brand with both art and creative direction was a particular highlight for me during this time.

2013 - 2015

A formative time working with innovators on award winning projects. The Rumpus Room specialized in social media activations using user generated content. This was a huge and exciting time for harnessing social media to generate engaging content. I was responsible for the UX, UI and content creation for Formula 1 racing driver Lewis Hamilton and tennis player Andy Murray. I helped design the world's first co-created ad campaign for Selfridges. I worked alongside Google Creative Labs on Chromebook projects.
